The IANTD Advanced EANx Diver course<\/strong> is the first and most complete programme of its kind<\/strong>, designed to provide comprehensive training<\/strong> for dives using two Nitrox mixes<\/strong> \u2014 one for the bottom and one for decompression \u2014 with a maximum depth of 42 metres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is one of the most important technical diving courses<\/strong> offered by IANTD and represents the transition from recreational diving to more advanced, demanding diving activities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this course, divers will develop the awareness, determination, and sense of responsibility<\/strong> necessary to dive deeper and stay longer<\/strong>, always in total safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Overview and Purpose<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The course starts with the IANTD Advanced EANx Diver manual<\/strong>, a comprehensive resource designed to provide theoretical knowledge and practical foundations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will study key topics essential for safe deep diving with Nitrox, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Physical and physiological principles<\/strong>\u00a0of deep diving<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Psychomotor exercises<\/strong>\u00a0to build confidence and control<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Training and physical fitness<\/strong>\u00a0for deep dives<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Experience and personal responsibility<\/strong>\u00a0in technical diving<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Equipment knowledge and correct setup<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All of these elements are crucial to safely manage dives using Nitrox (EANx) mixes up to 42 metres with decompression<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    During confined water sessions<\/strong> and open water dives<\/strong>, you will practice and refine these skills under the guidance of a qualified IANTD Instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Upon successful completion, you will receive the IANTD Advanced EANx Diver certification<\/strong>, issued by the International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Prerequisites for the Course<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    To enrol in the IANTD Advanced EANx Diver course<\/strong>, you must:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Hold an\u00a0IANTD EANx Diver and IANTD Deep Air Diver certification<\/strong>\u00a0or equivalent certifications<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Be\u00a0at least 18 years old<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Course Materials<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      During the course, the following materials are mandatory<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • IANTD Advanced EANx Diver manual<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • IANTD dive tables and stickers<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        All dives must be logged in an official dive logbook<\/strong>, with entries signed by the instructor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Course Duration and Structure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Theory Lessons<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • Eight (8) academic lessons<\/strong>, following the official manual<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          Confined Water Session<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          • At least one session<\/strong>\u00a0to develop and practice diving skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            Open Water Dives<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            • A total of\u00a0120 minutes of bottom time<\/strong>, completed in\u00a0four (4) dives<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Two dives between 30 and 42 metres<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • One dive reaching a maximum depth of 42 metres<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
