The SDI Scuba Discovery<\/strong> programme is designed for those who want an introductory diving experience before enrolling in the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver<\/strong> course.<\/p>\n

How It Works<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • An SDI\/TDI Scuba Instructor will welcome you to our Dive Centre in Rapallo<\/li>\n
  • The instructor will give you an introduction to the basic scuba equipment<\/li>\n
  • You\u2019ll be provided with a wetsuit, mask, fins, BCD, regulators, and tank<\/li>\n
  • Together with your instructor, you\u2019ll board the boat to reach the beautiful Portofino Marine Protected Area
    In just a few metres of water, your adventure begins<\/li>\n
  • You\u2019ll see plenty of marine life like large brown groupers, snappers, barracudas, octopuses, croakers, sea bream, and salema<\/li>\n
  • At the end of the dive, you\u2019ll return to the Dive Centre and enjoy a nice shower<\/li>\n
  • After registering on the SDI\/TDI website, you\u2019ll receive your very first scuba diving certification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What You\u2019ll Learn<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    During this experience you\u2019ll learn:<\/p>\n

    • how to equalise your ears<\/li>\n
    • how to manage your buoyancy<\/li>\n
    • how to stay aware of your dive buddy<\/li>\n

      Course Prerequisites<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      • Minimum age<\/strong>: 18 years, or 10 with parental consent<\/li>\n
      • Able to demonstrate adequate swimming skills and comfort in the water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
