Complete your open-circuit technical training

This course is for those who wish to reach a depth of -100 m while breathing hypoxic mixtures.

Undoubtedly, it is one of the most educational and challenging courses in open circuit.

What you will learn:

  • Advanced dive planning with decompression

  • Gas planning based on equivalent narcotic depth

  • Absorption and elimination of nitrogen and helium

  • CNS and OTU limits

  • Isobaric counterdiffusion

  • Volume requirements, etc.

  • Use of hypoxic gases

  • HPNS and isobaric counterdiffusion

  • Selection of decompression gases

  • Using tables vs. personal dive computers

  • Emergency management (equipment failure, missed decompression, etc.)

  • Decompression dive procedures

  • Equipment selection and configuration

  • Pre-dive checks and drills

  • How to manage possible stress factors

  • Following the established decompression program

  • Gas switches

  • Correct communication with the team

  • Use of SMB/lift bags

  • Buoyancy and trim techniques

  • Managing multiple (at least 3) decompression/phase tanks

  • Emergency procedures such as equipment failures, gas loss, missed decompression, navigation errors, injured/unconscious diver, etc.

  • How to label tanks

  • Nitrox and trimix mixture analysis

  • Gas mixing procedures

After completing the course, you will be able to conduct technical dives using hypoxic trimix mixtures to a maximum depth of -100 m.

Minimum TDI Advanced Trimix requirements:

  • Pass the written exam with a minimum score of 80%, followed by 100% recovery by the instructor

  • Complete all open water training procedures correctly and efficiently

  • Demonstrate maturity in planning and executing dives
