Training Standards
In the SSI Basic Diver programme, you’ll learn the skills and knowledge needed to try diving down to a depth of 12 metres with an SSI professional. It’s a great way to explore the underwater world more deeply while experiencing scuba diving.
The entire Basic Diver programme can be credited towards the Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification within 6 months, allowing you to take the next step in your scuba adventure.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age to participate: 10 years
- Comfortable swimmer
- No certification required
