Diving Group Portofino is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Training Centre committed to the highest levels of dive training from beginners through to dive instructors.
Diving Group Portofino is also a registered SSI training centre. We offer a full range of SSI courses through to Instructor Level and Tech Courses.
All PADI and SSI instructors and / or PADI/SSI clubs are welcome to use our facilities to arrange or finish, their students courses with us.
In addition, Diving Group Portofino is a specialist centre for Technical Diving teaching TDI & UTR courses using the technical equipment of Mares. We also offer re-breather courses with the famous trainer, Aldo Ferrucci. Nitrox & Trimix refills available.
We have separate 2 dive centres:
In Santa Margherita:
1. The larger of the two dive centres, is dedicated to all recreational diving and professional dive training from beginners through to instructor level. The centre is headed up by PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Luca Smecca, and is located where DWS Diving Centre used to be.

In Rapallo:
2. This is a large dive centre located at the port of Rapallo and is dedicated to all recreational diving and professional dive training from beginners through to instructor level. The centre is headed up by Stefano Lugaresi & Cecilia Luconi

All two of our dive centres are located close to the Ports in Santa Margherita and Rapallo, where our boats are moored. All our diving centres are newly refurbished and equipped with:
