PADI resort, SSI and SDI/TDI Training Centres in Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo
At Diving Group Portofino, we are proud to be a PADI Resort Centre and a registered SSI and SDI/TDI Training Centre, offering world-class recreational and professional dive training. From beginner courses to instructor certifications and technical diving, we provide a full range of PADI, SSI, TDI, and UTD training programmes.
We welcome PADI and SSI instructors, dive clubs, and training centres to use our facilities to organise or complete student courses with us.
For technical divers, Diving Group Portofino is also a specialist centre for Technical Diving, offering TDI, UTD and IANTD courses.. We also provide Shark rebreather training with renowned instructor Marco Alberti, as well as Nitrox and Trimix fills.
Our Dive Centres
We operate from two locations, both conveniently close to the ports of Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure, where our dive boats are moored.
Rapallo
Our Rapallo dive centre, located directly at the port, offers comprehensive recreational and professional training. It is managed by Stefano Lugaresi and Cecilia Luconi and provides the same high-quality facilities and training as our Santa Margherita centre.

Santa Margherita Ligure
Our larger dive centre in Santa Margherita Ligure is dedicated to both recreational diving and professional dive training, from beginner courses to instructor-level programmes. The centre is led by PADI IDC Staff Instructor Luca Smecca and is located where DWS Diving Centre used to be.
