Training Standards
In the SSI Basic Diver programme, you’ll learn the essential skills and knowledge to dive safely up to 12 metres deep under the direct supervision of an SSI professional. It’s the perfect way to explore the underwater world more deeply while discovering the thrill of scuba diving.
The full Basic Diver course can be credited towards the SSI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver programmes if completed within six months – allowing you to continue your scuba adventure whenever you’re ready.
