Your Adventure: A Two-Step Journey
Our experience is designed to give you the ultimate adventure in complete safety and fun. Here’s how your day with us will unfold:
A Relaxed and Fun Start
You’ll meet your personal PADI Instructor who, with a short and simple briefing, will reveal the secrets of breathing underwater and show you the equipment. No complicated lessons, just the essential information to make you feel comfortable right away.
First Dive: Building Confidence
Your first dive will take place in calm, shallow water, directly from the shore. Here, with the constant support of your instructor, you’ll practice some basic skills, get comfortable with the gear, and experience the incredible sensation of moving freely underwater.
Second Dive: The Boat Adventure!
Now that you’re ready, it’s time for the main event! We’ll board one of our boats to reach one of the most spectacular spots in the Portofino Marine Protected Area. You’ll dive into a natural aquarium, guided by your instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), floating among schools of fish and discovering the vibrant marine life of the Mediterranean.
What You’ll Really Learn
More than a lesson, this is an experience. By the end of the day, you will have learned to:
- Experience the unique thrill of breathing underwater in total comfort and safety.
- Move weightlessly, like an astronaut in the blue.
- Recognize some of the wonderful marine creatures that inhabit the Portofino Park.
- Use basic underwater hand signals to communicate with your instructor.
The Equipment: We Provide Everything
Your only job is to enjoy the adventure. We will provide all the professional, modern, and high-quality scuba gear, including:
- Wetsuit
- Mask and fins
- Tank and BCD (the jacket that helps you float)
- Regulators to breathe comfortably
Study Materials? None!
No books to study or exams to prepare for. The only thing you need to bring is your curiosity and the desire to try something extraordinary. At the end of the experience, you will receive a diploma to certify your fantastic adventure.
Prerequisites for the Adventure
- Be at least 10 years old.
- No prior scuba diving experience is required.
- A healthy dose of enthusiasm and a desire to have fun!
