Complete 4 speciality courses
Are you an Open Water Diver certified in four speciality courses? If so, you can earn the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver recognition level!
To achieve certification as an SSI Advanced Open Water Diver, you must have a minimum of 24 logged dives and have completed four speciality courses of your choice. This certification qualifies you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 metres.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 10 years (depending on the specialties selected)
- Hold an SSI Open Water Diver (or SSI Junior Open Water Diver) certification, or an equivalent certification from a recognised training agency
- Have a minimum of 24 logged dives
